China-Iceland Arctic Science Observatory
The China-Iceland Arctic Science Observatory (65°42'26"N, 17°22'01"W) is located in Karholl, northern Iceland and was established on October 18, 2018.
The China-Iceland Arctic Science Observatory mainly supports multi-disciplinary observation and research on aurora and space weather, atmospheric science and meteorology, biology and ecology, oceanography, glaciology, geophysics and geology, climate change and environmental scienceb. The observatory accommodates up to 10 people.
